I’m Katie, a specialist pre and postnatal yoga teacher trained to support women as they prepare for the transformational experience of childbirth.
When we become mothers, we change into a new version of ourselves. I aim to help you rediscover the knowledge and self-trust you have within to journey through this rite of passage.
I have worked with hundreds of women teaching pregnancy yoga. I’m also a mother of two and have had two very different birth experiences, which taught me that there is no perfect way to give birth.
However, I believes that by using the time during pregnancy to prepare, we can achieve an authentic and intuitive birth, regardless of the circumstances and environment.
About the course
Join Katie, our specialist pregnancy yoga instructor, for a transformative 6-week prenatal yoga course designed to nurture both your body and mind during pregnancy.
Each session offers a full yoga practice tailored for the pregnant body and incorporates a unique weekly theme to support your journey into motherhood:
Move: Learn safe yoga postures to strengthen your body and prepare for birth.
Breathe: Master breathing techniques to stay calm and centered during pregnancy and labour.
Anatomy: Discover active birth positions and pelvic floor exercises to facilitate your baby’s passage through the pelvis.
Visualise: Relax with guided visualisations to help you envision the birth you desire.
Surrender: Understand the role of hormones and birth environments in achieving a positive birthing experience.
Honour: Reframe birth as a powerful and celebratory rite of passage.

After each class, you’ll receive an online guide to deepen your understanding of the weekly theme. This course provides the perfect opportunity to:

Whether you’re a first-time mum or an experienced parent, this course offers the preparation you need for the birth you deserve.
This is a hybrid program:
Week 1: In-person session at the Pendle Wellbeing Hub studio to foster connections and build a supportive postpartum community.
Weeks 2-6: Online sessions, allowing you to practice from the comfort and privacy of your home.
You’ll also have the option to join a WhatsApp group with your fellow participants for ongoing support throughout your pregnancy and motherhood journey.
